The 2023 vintage, shaped by Matthieu Mangenot’s expertise, reflects a shift from the previous year with less use of whole bunch fermentation, focusing instead on purity and clarity of fruit. Across the range, the wines showcase impressive structure, vibrant acidity, and nuanced expressions of their respective terroirs, promising early approachability for some and significant aging potential for others.

"Aromatically dynamic, this starts with dried cranberries, underbrush, fine spices and forest floor. The palate shows generous layers of pure, sweet fruit wrapped up in rather firm, latticed tannins and zinging acidity. Don't be too impatient with this wine. This is a single, 1.7 ha block just a hop, skip and jump away from La Tâche. Certified AB organic."

"The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Les Malconsorts 1er Cru was picked on September 9 with '25% whole cluster and 35% new oak. It offers pretty cranberry and wild strawberry scents on the nose, well-defined, if not quite as complex as its peers. The palate is well balanced with crisp, slightly crunchy red berry fruit on the entry. There is something "playful" about this Les Malconsorts. It doesn't take itself too seriously, yet there is ample tension and considerable mineralité on the finish. Not to be underestimated. "
