The style of the Valdicava wines is powerful and concentrated, with great weight, drive, minerality and purity of fruit on the palate, whilst the nose offers a heady mix of cardamon, cumin, earth, pepper, chalk, violets, tar and dark berries.
Perhaps most importantly of all for a 'modern' style Brunello, the use of oak is restrained and unobtrusive, supporting the wine's structure without overwhelming its character.

"Spectacular aromas of crushed fruit, plums, sous bois, porcini and black truffles. Decadent year, but fresh. Full-bodied, dense and linear on the palate, yet so much in balance and refined with incredible depth and consistency. The savory and juicy finish, with vivid acidity and fruit, is eye-opening. Greatest ever. Best after 2025, but can’t wait to try it again."
