The village Saumur Blanc is, like all Romain's whites, 100% Chenin Blanc, and is sourced from various choice parcels and aged in stainless steel.

There's an extraordinary amount of terroir on show here, with such clarity & purity to the fruit. Lots of chalky minerality and orchard fruits on the palate, which has terrific salinity and texture. This is so much more than a standard table wine, possessing a surprising degree of freshness and purity. And all from a village Saumur! Wow.
