"Translucent ruby in color, the 2023 Rosso Di Montalcino is pretty and inviting with a floral bouquet that offers notes of crushed strawberries, roses, and sweet herbs. Medium-bodied, the palate is elegant but also has a light gamey richness underneath, with ripe tannins, a chalky (almost liver-like texture), and a clean finish. The acidity is more modest in this charming, easygoing wine. Enjoy it over the next 4-6 years."

Tenuta di Argiano

Argiano is one of the oldest and most beautiful estates in Montalcino (and was one of the members of the original Brunello Consorzio).

Although the estate is situated in the south of the region which tends to be several degrees warmer than vineyards to the north, the vineyards achieve good elevation and comprise a high percentage of the mineral-rich marl in their clay limestone soil, also found in the hill of Montosoli – Montalcino’s widely accepted “Grand Cru” site.
