Pouilly-Loché ‘Les Barres’, Domaine du Clos des Rocs, 2017

Domaine du Clos des Rocs is a distinguished winery located in the Mâconnais region of Burgundy, France. This domaine is particularly renowned for its focus on producing high-quality Chardonnay wines from some of the lesser-known, yet exceptional, terroirs of the region.

Founded by Olivier Giroux, Domaine du Clos des Rocs has quickly gained a reputation for excellence since its inception. The estate is relatively small, with just over 10 hectares of vineyards, but it has made a significant impact due to its meticulous attention to detail and commitment to organic viticulture.

The 2017 vintage benefited from favourable growing conditions, resulting in ripe, healthy grapes with excellent acidity levels. The Les Barres is a medium-bodied wine with a lively, crisp acidity.
