Made using the traditional appassimento method—where grapes are partially dried for 4-5 weeks before fermentation— the velvety and full-bodied Passo del Sud from Tagaro as a result is intensely concentrated.
You'll find deep notes of black cherries, plums, and dried figs, layered with hints of warm spices, dark chocolate, and a touch of vanilla from oak aging. Smooth tannins and a long, well-balanced finish make it a perfect choice for cozy dinners or indulgent moments.
This great value red will pair very nicely with robust, slow-cooked meats, cured meats and hearty pasta dishes.
