The 2024 releases from Robert Ampeau has given a very rare opportunity to enjoy mature vintages at prices that are practically at the level of recent en primeur releases. As these wines have remained unmoved in the cold cellars at Ampeau since bottling, the conditions for a very slow, undisturbed ageing are perfect, showing impressive vivacity and freshness alongside the obvious mature fruit character.

The Perrières is Ampeau's signature wine and from one of the best vintages for white Burgundy in last 50 years. Perrieres is widely regarded as the best 1er Cru site in Meursault and of Grand Cru quality, perhaps only eclipsed by the wines in and around of Montrachet.
