Laurel, “a Latin-tinged Chateauneuf-du-Pape”, is the second wine made by the legendary Daphne Glorian, and it's a fabulous wine in its own right. You’ll get waves of juicy cherries, plums, and blackberries, with floral hints, crushed stone, and a sprinkle of sweet spice. It’s vibrant, deep, and smooth on the palate, with rich fruit, fine tannins, and a long, mineral finish.
Aged in barrels, foudres, and clay amphorae, Laurel shows off Priorat’s rugged slate soils (llicorella) but stays totally approachable. A perfect match for grilled lamb, hearty stews, or aged cheeses.
