This wine opens with a beautifully floral nose—think rose petals and iris—layered with gentle spice that becomes even more pronounced on the palate. It’s silky, elegant, and refined, with soft, ripe tannins providing a solid backbone. There's a lovely balance here, making it a great match for flavourful poultry or meat dishes.
Sourced from younger vines (10 to 15 years old) grown in the limestone-rich marl soils of the Langhe hills, it’s made using traditional methods with fermentation in steel tanks and aging in large Slavonian oak botti. The result is a seriously impressive wine that drinks like a younger sibling to Barolo - refined, expressive, and full of charm.
What the critics say:
"A nicely poised neb with ripe black fruit and measured oak influence. Medium-bodied, the oak and fruit blend effortlessly to give a lightly firm and fruity center palate and a lengthy finish. Well crafted, clean and delicious. Drink or hold."
