Favia is known for crafting wines that are as thoughtful as they are delicious. Founded by the dynamic duo Andy Erickson (former winemaker at Screaming Eagle) and his wife Annie Favia, a viticulturist with a deep passion for organic farming, Favia focuses on small-batch wines made from some of Napa’s most exciting sites.
Their 2015 Coombsville is Napa Valley elegance at its best. Coming from the cool, volcanic soils of Coombsville, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is all about balance and finesse, with the touch of power that Napa is known for. The palate is lush and silky, with ripe dark fruits blending beautifully with subtle spice, velvety tannins, and just the right amount of acidity to keep it fresh and vibrant.

It has classic cool climate notes of blue fruits, violet, chocolate, and green tobacco. These all flow to a deep, concentrated, yet finesse-driven wine that has fine tannins, terrific mid-palate depth, and a huge finish. It shows the classic Coombsville complexity, purity, and freshness, and will keep for 2-3 decades."
"Made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the deep garnet-purple colored 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Coombsville gives up scents of cassis, blackberries and black cherries with hints of bouquet garni, pencil lead, garrigue and iron ore with a waft of black olives. Medium to full-bodied, it has a rock-solid backbone of grainy tannins and great freshness with layers of savory flavors and a long, mineral-tinged finish. 340 cases produced."
