William Fèvre continues to impress under the wing of Didier Séguier with a stellar set of 2023s. Neal Martin has already praised Fèvre as among the top producers of the vintage (no surprises there) with potential scores up to 95 points, whilst Decanter's Charles Curtis MW is similarly enthused.
William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru "Les Preuses" always shows elegant minerality with a flinty, saline edge, vibrant citrus notes, and exceptional aging potential, sourced from Kimmeridgian limestone soils.

"From 2.5ha (6 acres); one parcel (1ha [2.47 acres]) is next to Dauvissat’s on the southeast of the slope, while the other, on the southwest, gives more richness. “For me, one of the most elegant grands crus,” says Didier. It’s succulent, yet there is the tension and bite of cold minerality. Quite reserved in its youth. Delicate and straight and refined, with a touch of gold, but finely silky and salty to finish."
