William Fèvre continues to impress under the wing of Didier Séguier with a stellar set of 2023s. Neal Martin has already praised Fèvre as among the top producers of the vintage (no surprises there) with potential scores up to 95 points, whilst Decanter's Charles Curtis MW is similarly enthused.
"Bougros" is one of Chablis' richest and most powerful Grands Crus, with notes of ripe orchard fruit, balanced by a signature saline minerality, crafted from steep, south-facing Kimmeridgian limestone vineyards.
What the critics say:
"An exuberantly citrus-suffused nose reflects additional notes of mineral reduction, iodine and apple. The sleek, delicious and vibrant medium-bodied flavors display both good focus and power, all wrapped in a lemon-tinged finale. There is a touch of warmth and this does need to develop more depth but overall, this is quite good with fine upside potential."
