This mixed case celebrates the charm of Burgundy’s picturesque villages and the fantastic wines they produce. Including famous villages such as Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault and Gevrey-Chambertin, this hand-picked selection will have you dreaming of your next rural escapade in this pretty region.

Puligny-Montrachet, Domaine Alain Chavy, 2020
A complex mix of citrus, crushed stones and subtle oak, it has an attention-grabbing contrast between the ripe citrus fruit and the high acidity. A restrained style that focuses on the purity of fruit, making for a delicious wine.

Meursault Village Vieilles Vignes, Vincent Girardin, 2020
A lovely balance of ripe fruit, predominantly citrus but notes of stone fruit that bring a richness and depth to the wine. The medium to full texture is very appealing, nicely countered with an energy and vibrancy that lifts the wine. Classic Meursault showing all the style of this brilliant winemaker.

Nuits-Saint-Georges, Domaine du Clos Frantin, 2021
Boasts a developed nose of red fruits, tobacco and cocoa with a robust, harmonious balance on the palate. With a long and intensely aromatic finish, this is a stunner.

Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine Taupenot-Merme, 2021
Elegant and cool with a combination of wild red cherry, sauvage and discreet spice whiffs. A surprising wealth of fruit on the palate with a lovely tension and fine length on the finish.

Santenay Blanc, Jane Eyre, 2021
This creamy and elegant Chardonnay possesses bread crust, chopped pear, praline and salted butter aromas. Gently nutty with an excellent freshness and balance, this is an excellent example of Jane's style.

Auxey-Duresses, Jane Eyre, 2022
Showing purity and focus on the nose, with bright red berry fruits, autumnal woodsmoke and dry spice notes. high toned, sappy red berry compote attack fills out on the mid-palate with some cedar and tamarind notes, supported by fresh acids and stony tannins.
