Compared to recent vintages, the 2023 wines are particularly balanced, fresh, and expressive.
"Production of 20,000 bottles, with a mix of 80% négociant and 20% estate fruit from around Charles' parcels. Composed of 70% Meursault and 30% Puligny, it shows a warm nose of lime and ugli fruit. Aged with 15% new oak, this vintage displays a marked difference from 2022."
Our note
The warm 2023 season produced wines with rich aromatics and a harmonious balance, aided by cooler conditions from early September onward. Harvest began on September 6th, followed by a steady fermentation that extended through the new year, with malolactic fermentation concluding in July. The wines were racked in September and are now resting in tank, set for bottling in January.
