Domaine Etienne Sauzet is one of the most esteemed producers in Puligny-Montrachet and it’s a real pleasure to be working with them. The domaine was founded in the early 20th century by Etienne Sauzet and has grown significantly over the years. Now under the stewardship of Etienne's granddaughter, Emilie, and her husband, Benoît Riffault, the domaine balances tradition with modernity while maintaining a deep respect for the land.

The Wines

The estate owns around 15 hectares of vineyards, primarily in Puligny-Montrachet, with holdings in several Premier and Grand Cru sites, including Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet and Bâtard-Montrachet. Farming is biodynamic, reflecting a philosophy that prioritises the health and vitality of the soil and vines.

Domaine Etienne Sauzet is known for producing wines that are precise, mineral-driven, and expressive of their unique sites, embodying the very best of Puligny-Montrachet’s nuanced terroirs. These are some of Burgundy’s finest whites and it is a pleasure to be able to offer them.
