Domaine Adélie, situated in the village of Mercurey in the Côte Chalonnaise, is part of the extensive portfolio of Albert Bichot, a historic Burgundian négociant and grower, with whom Honest Grapes enjoys a close partnership. Acquired by Albert Bichot in 2013, Domaine Adélie spans 7.8 hectares, with holdings predominantly focused on Pinot Noir, including premier cru sites such as Clos des Myglands.

Named after Albert Bichot’s daughter, the domaine embodies the house’s commitment to sustainable viticulture, certified organic since 2018. The vineyards are meticulously tended to produce wines that highlight the distinctive character of Mercurey’s limestone-rich soils and varied terroirs.

The Wine

In the cellar, traditional Burgundian methods are employed with precision to craft wines of finesse and structure, balancing bright red fruit character with depth and elegance. Domaine Adélie’s wines are a testament to the continuing legacy and quality-driven philosophy of Albert Bichot.
